Veg Fried Rice / How to make easy vegetable fried rice / Indo Chinese vegetable fried rice

 Vegetable Fried Rice:

               Fried rice is a dish in which we fry steamed rice with some ingredients like vegetables or meat with some sauces. Here is vegetable fried rice ,a nice lunch box recipe . This is simple to prepare and we can take different vegetables in one meal.




Ingredients Vegetable Fried Rice :

Basmati Rice            - 1 cup
Carrot                      - 1 big
Tomato Sauce          - 1 tbsp
Beans                       - 5
Spring Onions           - 6
Capsicum                 - 1 small (1/2 big
Soya Sauce              - 1 tbsp
Ajinamoto                - 1/4 tbsp (optional)
Pepper powder         - 1 1/2 tbsp
Olive oil                    - 2 tbsp
Salt                          - per taste

Method :
  • Cook Rice in pressure cooker with required water and 1/2 tbsp of oil in it (oil helps to separate each grain)
  • Chop the veggies and keep them aside.


  • Heat oil in a pan and add the vegetables you have chosen.


  • Saute for 2 mins and add spring onions (keep some green spring onions aside for garnishing)


  • Saute this for another 3 mins


  • Then add soya sauce , pepper powder , ajinamoto , salt and tomato sauce. Stir it until these spice coat properly with the vegetables


  • Add cooked rice and mix well.


  • Gar.sh this vegetable fried rice with the left over spring onions.


Simple and tasty fried rice is ready to serve.

Note : Don't stir the rice continuously. Fluff the rice with fork and allow it to cool down before making veg fried rice
