Ingredients :
Bommidala fish - 800gms Mustard seeds/avalu - 1/2tsp Jeera - 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds-1/4tsp Onions - 2 Green chillies - 3 or 4 Curry leaves - few Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp Red chilli powder - 2 tsp Garam masala powder - 1tsp Tamarind - medium lemon size Salt - as per taste Oil -2 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Preparation:
  • * clean fish pieces and marinate with salt and turmeric powder.
  • * soak tamarind in water.
  • *heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,
  • jeera and fenugreek seeds.
  • *add chopped onions and sliced green chillies.
  • *cook until onions become translucent.
  • *add ginger and garlic patse. Cook until raw smell goes.
  • * add red chilli powder and garam masala powder. Mix well.
  • *add curry leaves.
  • *add marinated fish pieces and mix well.
  • *add tamarind pulp and water.
  • * cook for 15 to 20 mins. When done, add coriander leaves and turnoff the stove.
  • * serve with hot rice.
